At St. Robert Catholic School, we provide students in sixth grade and beyond with the opportunity to take elective classes that are offered twice a month. In recent years, we have offered classes related to money and investment, including the stock market. We have offered classes in human anatomy that go beyond what is taught in the seventh-grade science curriculum. We have also offered classes in speech and debate that included participation in a judged debate contest with students from other schools in the area.
As additional subjects to our core curriculum, we believe that these elective classes broaden the overall educational experience of our students and deepen their interest in life-long learning.
At St. Robert School, we are continuously assessing our resources and seeking new opportunities to expand our academy program to include other subject areas.
